Fans of the Batman movies will be keen to see a fantastic ‘Batpod’ replica that has been put up for sale on eBay.
Looking at the bike, you can’t help but appreciate the talent and craftsmanship of whoever made it. The bike is a full scale 1:1 working replica of the famous ‘Batpod’ that was ridden by Batman in the ‘Dark Knight’.
The awesome looking motorcycle was hand built and has been scaled down from the original for more accuracy and exalted feel. The engine is 650cc 4 stroke, and has a water cooled engine with direct port nitrous injection. The frame was built by hardened steel and which was welded together for a spectacular performance.
The covers and arms on the bike are made of high tensile strength fibreglass which hides the engine. It also features 508 mm tyres across and is also equipped with grappling hooks, grenade launchers and 50 calibre machine guns, but naturally these do not function.
It must be noted however, that the Batpod is not street legal, and it will arrive with one chain removed so that it is not ridden. It can be made street legal at the special request of buyers for a nominal fee.
