How to Find the Best eBay Deals on Wireless Headphones
With the recent launch of the iPhone 7, mobile audio may have changed for ever. Controversially the iPhone 7 is packaged without a headphone jack and comes with wireless headphones – Apple AirPods.
Many tech reviewers have criticised Apple for this snub especially as it means thousands of iPhone 7 users will need to buy new headphones.
Apple are no stranger to innovation and controversy when in the late 1990’s they packaged the iMac with no floppy disk drive and only USB ports for keyboard and mouse – a true revolution at the time.
Fast forward to the present day and many of you are left wondering what does this all mean? And are there deals to be had on wireless/Bluetooth headphones on eBay?
If you’re looking to get a good deal on wireless headphones, eBay is the place to start your search. I’ve been doing a bit of research and have found that there are currently nearly 1000 listings for wireless headphones that claim to be suitable for the iPhone 7.
These range in price from the super cheap to the uber classy (with a price tag to match).
So, what do we have on eBay when it comes to Bluetooth audio wear?
First up at the budget end are a popular budget brand of wireless headphones – the Cocoon 600 come in a variety of colours and designs from hot pink through to bling silver.
They come with adjustable volume and are a great entry set of wireless ‘phones for just £19.99 including postage and packing.
Moving up into more of a mid range and a new pair of Sennheiser RS165 bluetooth wireless headphones costs £175 new.
These include the crisp sound quality you’d expect from Sennheiser (I do most of my writing listening to house music on Sennheiser headphones) and includes a charging station that will deliver up to 18 hours of listening time.
More of a Beats by Dre fan? eBay is the right place to get a good deal on wireless Beats headphones. I found a cracking pair of Studio 2.0 for £210 although there are other lesser models available for £100-150. This includes a mixture of new and used models.
If you’re buying a used set of headphones, get plenty of information and detail particularly of the ear cups. If they’ve been next to someone’s sweaty head, you’ll want to change the pads early on. Cheaper models won’t let you to do this so bear in mind before you buy.
There are certainly deals on second hand headphones but with prices so keen on seconds and last years models, it’s worth spending the extra money to get a new set.
Wireless Headphones Are Hot – Save Money Getting Yours on eBay
It should be clear that eBay is the best place to buy headphones, from the sheer choice and keen pricing. My Sennheisers were nearly half the RRP and are the best set of headphones I’ve bought.
Supermarkets and stores only hold a limited stock or this year’s models. But if you’re prepared to do some searching on eBay you can certainly get a good deal on wireless headphones that are iPhone 7 ready.
Happy shopping and remember to buy smart!
